Our Story
Second New Life was born from a deeply personal calling. Our founders, having experienced immediately the traumatic impact of addiction and the transformative power of recovery, imagined a place where hope would be more than a word, a place where it would be lived every day.
- We use fact-based treatment to help clients with drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and mental and behavioral health issues.
- Under the guidance of our chief medical officer, our program is made up of addiction professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, licensed marriage & family therapists, social workers, psychologists, & psychiatrists.
- We offer high staff-to-patient ratios to ensure more personal attention for our clients, & many of our staff are in recovery themselves, so they understand what you are going through.

- Co-Treatment Approach: We specialize in treating dual diagnosis mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, & bipolar disorder alongside drug use disorders. Our unified approach ensures both conditions are treated concurrently for the best outcomes.
- Medical Detoxification: Professionally supervised withdrawal process that ensures safety, manages symptoms, & prepares persons for the next phase of treatment.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): IOP is designed for clients who are ready for self-determination but still need cooperative clinical support. This program is often a step-down from PHP or inpatient treatment.
- Ongoing Support and Alumni Engagement: Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. Our aftercare planning and alumni services to keep clients connected, supported, and focused on long-term recovery.
